Created an Ecommence website to go live in 2 months following a soft launch and prior to peak season. Goal was to provided fresh, meaningful content with high quality photos that help create the story behind the company. Identified a target that was higher end purchasers who are conscious of non-toxic ingredients and who seek out Eco-packaging. Established a voice for, and migrated my small business’s brand and it’s direction to promote the use of toxin-free bath products and to reduce the use of single use plastics in our environment. Results: Built an on line presence that produced revenue. Annual online sales exceeded the yearly goals by 8-12% each year. Cost for site maintenance, updates, redesign were kept at a minimum. Developed tests and promotions based on measured performance and customer feedback from surveys and social media. Created and managed ecommerce, SEO, SMM, EM and other digital marketing efforts. Maintained an increase in dollar per transaction and growth of repeat customer base year after year with upsell/cross sell strategies. Identified customer buying cycle, utilized cross selling of other products in person and on the website, and created segmentation strategies for use through online sales channels. Managed and met business financial goals to achieve positive net profit year after year. Created and presented top level, monthly, yearly, and individual program reporting and analysis. What I enjoyed - The challenge was to get nationwide customers to believe they needed this unique product without experiencing it first. Through copy, photos, CTA, social media marketing, and a simple check out process, customers began to purchase. The site was then able to get the customers to return for more purchases by exceeding their expectations through fulfillment and follow up communications.
